Terms of use

Last updated 18 October 2026

By using the GeoIntel atlas you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Copyright

© 2026 GeoIntel. The atlas's design and cartographic style, software, visualisations, curated and derived datasets, and text are protected by copyright; all rights are reserved.

Using the atlas

You're welcome to read and explore the atlas for personal, educational, journalistic or research purposes, to share links to it, and to use exported charts or screenshots with credit to "GeoIntel (geointelatlas.com)". Copying or redistributing the atlas's code, design or curated data, or collecting it in bulk by automated means, needs written permission first. Please also use it in a way that doesn't burden its services. Questions about reuse are welcome through the contact page.

Data from others

Much of what the atlas shows comes from public and open sources, credited where it is shown. That data remains under its own licence, and your use of it is governed by that licence, not by these terms.

No warranty

The atlas is provided for information only, as is. It may contain errors, gaps or out-of-date material, and parts of Current Events are interpreted automatically and labelled as such. It is not professional, legal, financial or security advice, and you should not rely on it for decisions where an error could cause harm. To the extent the law allows, GeoIntel is not liable for any loss arising from its use.

Links to other sites are provided for reference and do not imply endorsement.
